1. How to apply for the Master's Program or the In-service Master's Program of Tourism and Health Science?

  • Starting from the academic year 2013, the Department has abolished the written test for admission and instead uses portfolio of work and interview as the basis for admission. We welcome fresh graduates, industry professionals, and those with excellent skills and experience to apply for the master's program, especially if you have relevant certificates and language skills. There are two types of admissions: the first type is for the regular Master's Program (application period is around October each year), and the second type is for the In-service Master's Program (application period is around December to January each year). Only portfolio of work and interview are required for admission to the above two types, and no written examination is required.

2. What are the curriculum direction of the Master's Program and the In-service Master's Program of Tourism and Health Science?

  • The Master's program is designed to integrate the professional knowledge of tourism, leisure and recreation, health science, and environmental ecology, and to help students achieve their career planning goals through a flexible, diversified, and forward-looking curriculum that takes into account their personal interests and social and national responsibilities. • The curriculum direction emphasizes knowledge integration, interest development, independent research and critical thinking. The curriculum is divided into two main axes: Tourism & Health Science and Safety & Leisure health promotion, which are available to graduate students of the Department.

3.  What is the employment situation of graduates over the years?

  • The undergraduate program of this department was established in the academic year 2015. The first graduates graduated in June 2019. The preliminary results of the survey on the flow of graduates in September 2019: the employment rate was 45.5%, 27.3% went abroad, 15.2% did military service, and others (including unemployed) 12.1%. The employment direction is in the tourism and tourism industry, green leisure industry, and health industry, with most of them working in their original internship institutes and a few seeking their ideal jobs. Graduates of the master's program are working in travel agencies, airlines, hotels, nursing centers, hospitals, public institutions, schools, other industrial and commercial organizations, or pursuing further education.
